There is no forced molting for egg production and no feeding of antibiotics, drugs, and animal protein. Instead, natural grains and extract of ganoderma lucidum polysaccharide and ginsenoside are added to the feed. The Farm cares for hen health and regularly sends its egg products to the third-party institute to verify nutrition contents. Feed thus is adjusted to maintain hen nutrition and health.

Clear and high quality printing to prevent condensation and forgery
Shih An Animal Welfare Eggs are printed with “package date and expiry date,” and the same information is shown on the package box. That is our quality assurance for the food safety to customers for providing open and transparent traceability of products. Shih An Farm offers a double guarantee to consumers.
First, eggshell printers must provide clear and high-quality printing. Due to the typical use of small scales of prints, limited spaces on eggshells are fully utilized, and striking color comparison shall be maintained.
Second, ink shall be able to prevent condensation. Condensation will take place when eggs are moved from a low-temperature environment; therefore, make sure the printing shall be clear for reading.
Finally, to prevent artificial modification, even after the ink is erased, when using a professional instrument to inspect egg shells, the original printed date could still be identified. That is the feature of anti-forgery.
